Technical Tour

The technical tour will head south to visit the constructed wetland at Narrogin wastewater treatment plant, Harvey dam, Harvey Water desalination plant at Kemerton industrial estate, Wellington Dam, lunch at Ferguson Valley winery, Aqwest water recycling and groundwater plants in Bunbury and then return to Perth. Each of these sites will demonstrate small and municipal scale water supply and wastewater treatment plants. The bus tour will pass through very scenic rural countryside of the southwest of Western Australia. There are opportunities to meet the managers and technical professionals at each site and discuss questions with them. The lunch will be held at a scenic venue in the farming region.
